At petit bazaar, we are honored to offer you jess brown's wonderful dolls.

Jess Brown is the designer behind the amazing handmade dolls that are such a rarity these days. Custom made for us in jess's northern california studio, each doll is one of a kind, cut to order using Persian black tea hand dyes for different skin tones, corn fiber stuffing and clothing made from recycled and antique fabrics and wools.

"My inspirations are a blend of antique bits and pieces...textiles and then art work that my children create. My studio serves as a little gallery. Wherever I look is a tiny memory of something I was lucky enough to find at a flea market or some little treasure Stella or Tiger placed carefully for me to discover."
